The different types of cases available for i-phone

Mobile phones such as i-Phones may have two kinds of cases namely leather cases and silicon cases. Everyone likes cases of different sorts, some need them for style and some do for protection purposes. For overall protection of the screen a leather case is better just like I-Phone case is made up of fine leather and covers the entire phone while not in use. Some leather cases are not really helpful while the mobile phone is being used as they are in pouch forms.

However, some leather cases may overcome this problem, they are flap cases that are attached to the back and the front flap can be flipped when the phone is in use. Leather cases fit well; they have no raised and uneven parts. Moreover, the texture is smooth similar to I-Phone case. This actually fits the phone like a glove fits a hand.

Leather cases look sober and sophisticated, although they add a little bulk to the phone they are still used by people to give an executive look. This is truly proved by I-Phone case that how it gives the look and the protection at the same time. The draw back in a leather case is that it contains a magnet in it for the purpose of closing the clip, and magnetic material may cause damage to the chips in the mobile phone.

Leather cases have cutouts in them for the camera and volume buttons. Also, they have a cutout for the charger. They protect the battery and the back side of the mobile phone well and the battery life becomes longer like in this case we have I-Phone battery.

While silicone cases are not a bad option either. Not just that they are cheaper than leather cases, they even add more glamour to the mobile phone. They just cover the phone from the back side and protect it when it is dropped accidentally or hit by something sharp. Although it may not have cutouts for buttons it is still easy to push the buttons from outside.

Unlike leather cases, silicone cases have innumerable colors and designs which are more suitable for teenage boys and girls as well as the elder ones who can choose the color of their own choice. They do have cutouts for chargers and other I-Phone accessories that need to be attached.

Silicone cases do not protect the front screen and an extra screen protector has to be bought which equalizes the cost of both kinds of cases. Sometimes silicone cases may not look decent and not suit everybody while leather cases suit every individual. Silicones are a bit hard to put on and may cause slight damage in the process. Keeping it on for a long while causes little marks on the mobile phone’s body which can not be easily removed.

Both types of cases have advantages as well as some drawbacks, both are made for the same purpose that is the protection of the mobile phone and either of them must be bought according to the person’s choice.
