iTrackIt iPhone App Review
In our daily lives we have the track and count various numbers including bills to keep up with, calories to count and even scores to settle. Basically, New Mills Computer has developed an app to help you with this process by creating a very useful tracking app called iTrackit. With this app, users are able to keep track of various things including their heart rate, weight, expenses, gas and electricity bills, amount of alcohol consumed, films watched, account balance, sports team position, books read and much more. There are several categories that are pre – programmed in the app by the developers but it is also possible to include just about any category into it as a long as you can assign a specific value to it.
In order to create an entry, simply tap the Records tab located on the lower taskbar and then tap the “+” icon located at the top right area of the screen. Next fill all the relevant information while paying attention to the values but it is important to remember to choose the specific Tracks the record will be categorized into. It’s quite similar to the tagging concept plus including additional level of numbers. Also on the New Record page, by pressing the arrow icon located on the top right of the screen that gives you an option to copy the records you have entered. This will prevent you from entering the same information again. Although, some of your records may be quite similar so there is an option to categorize them into Groups located in the first tab on the taskbar. Tap on the “+” button to add a Group and do it again to begin adding Tracks.
The greatest benefit of this app is located in the numbers, that can be reviewed when you tap on the Tracks tab. This app monitors your Tracks based on time period that can be adjusted according to you such as daily, weekly, monthly and even annually. With this app you can monitor aggregated values between consecutive time periods using a line or bar graph. This means you can compare how many pages of a novel you have read between this week and last week. By monitoring the Groups tab, you can check the minimum, maximum and average values on a track for a specific Group given time period. Tapping on a group you will be able to monitor a bar graph in the background that records the amount of time being spent on each Track compared to the other ones.
If you base your life on numbers, iTrackit is highly recommended. This app can be quite confusing at first but by going through the tutorial, you will have this app figured out in no time. This problem can be seen in the placement of the Records tab. Once you have figured out this app, it can be an immense help in your daily lives. You can download this app in the App Store for just $2.99.
